DHI is a modified version of FUE hair transplant
In FUE, a surgeon will manually make the channels in your scalp before implanting hair follicles. During DHI, we use a specialized implanter pen that can do both at the same time.
How can a hair transplant be done?
DHI is the newest and least invasive method of hair transplantation, in which the doctor takes a hair graft from a part of the scalp, usually at the back of the head, and implants the hair follicle into the bald area. These hairs will eventually grow since first month
By Dhi technique. The hair roots are loaded into the pen-shaped tool. and embedded in the bald area
A DHI hair transplant typically takes approximately 6 hours, but the time may vary depending on the number of hair grafts.
Here's how the DHI procedure works:
Hair transplantation using the DHI (Direct Hair Implantation) technique is moving hair roots from the occipital area to be transplanted into the bald area with a transplant pen called a Hair Implanter without having to drill a hole before transplanting.
However the hair roots can be placed through the tool in one step. Therefore there is little injury. No need to for downtime Due to using a implanter pen so the hairline can be arranged more naturally. Because the direction of the hairline can be determined through the implanter pen.
The transplant pen is small, 0.6-0.8 millimeters, so the wound at the back cannot be seen after the hair transplant is complete. The wound heals quickly so no need to wrap a bandage for a long time by using the FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) technique.
